Proposal Details:
I propose that Occupy Tacoma join with People for Peace Justice & Healing, a local social justice & Peace group, at their weekly vigils on Wednesdays from 5 to 6 pm, holding signs on Pacific Ave and either 21st or in front of the Federal Courthouse (aka Union Station). Historically, since 9/11/01, the weekly vigil was held in front of the Courthouse, and then with the founding of Occupation Park, we moved to S. 21st. The location of the vigil in the future (the Courthouse or the Park) will depend upon group consensus, with the possibility of both places simultaneously.
