Occupation Park

Occupation Park – originally named Pugnetti Park – is the name Occupy Tacoma has given to the state-owned land on South 21st & Pacific Avenue. The occupation of this park began on October 15, 2011, after a march from People’s Park to Tollefson Plaza. The occupation grows larger day by day, and will remain here in solidarity with the larger Occupy movement and the community of Tacoma.

Can we occupy a state park somewhere?
Much better scenery, fewer problems with bums.
